Ms. Jineer, one of the co-founders of the company is a Yoga fan. When she had her workout about 10 years ago, she hardly found a suitable yoga kit for different level yogis. She experienced several brands' products but did not find a good fit. Hence, the fellows who had the same goal gathered and established Heathyoga aims to provide professional, diversified, affordable, and high-quality yoga gear for yogis.
In the beginning, the team based on their previous experiences to design and launch a collection quickly. The result was not as expected since the collection was lack of market research, that it failed to meet the market's needs, and hard to differentiate from competitive brands.
Bear the lesson in mind, Jineer asked the team to analyze the market data before kick-off the new product line. Customer-centric was the core value of Heathyoga, requested by Jineer. By studying the market, they discovered that yogis required not only pants but also functional leggings.
Can workout leggings have pockets? How do pants shape the curve? How to improve the feeling when sweating? Would it be suitable to wear the leggings for multiple occasions?
Of course! Heathyoga aims to be the perfect partner with yogis in the workout journey. Jineer tested the cloth continuously until the one which is moisture-wicking, non-see-through, and 4 ways stretched was found. Meanwhile, the R&D team revised the design several times that finally confirmed yoga pants with both sides and an inner waistband pocket. This functional design can have yogis hands-free from workouts. For better tummy control, high-waisted pants were considered by designers.
After months of hard work, HY21 legging of Heathyoga launched. It was rated as one of the best sellers of Heathyoga and became a classic type of brand.
